The Cheyenne Rocky Mountain Zoo is renowned for it’s gorgeous location and ever expanding state of the art wild animal enclosures.
On Thursday August the fifth 2010, it will take on a new type of event for adults only.
In an adults only event, Moonlight on the Mountain, visitors will have a chance to mix and mingle under the stars with the animals at this annual Colorado Springs mixer. The award winning Chef Beau and Wildthings catering will present delicious food while Bristol Brewing and Sovereignty Wines will provide mouth watering beverage options.
Also included in the nights festivities is a concert by Martini Shot - an original six-piece Pop-Rock band with horns based out of Southern Colorado. Major influences of band are Barenaked Ladies, Reel Big Fish, and 311. (information courtesy of Reverbnation)

This evening is for adults 21 and older only.
Tickets for Moonlight on the Mountain include zoo admission plus some behind the scenes animal experiences, four complimentary drinks (beer or wine courtesy of Bristol Brewery and Sovereignty Wines), heavy appetizers. There will also be multiple cash bars available.
Online before the event $25, available through August 2, 5pm.
After 5pm August 2, through the event day $35
* Walk-ups are welcome, tickets will be available at the door.
* Guests will be checked in off of a list to enter Moonlight on the Mountain.
* Complimentary drink coupons will be distributed at check-in.
