Like to shop? Don’t worry, the Broadmoor is complete with specialty shops both in the main hotel, and sprinkled throughout the grounds specializing in designer clothing, gift boutiques, art galleries, florists, a bookstore, children’s shops and Colorado collectibles.
Other fun shopping outings include:
Manitou Springs – Boutique shops built into the side of the mountains include: restaurants, bars, gift shops, artisan demonstrations and Olde Tyme Photography.
Old Colorado City – A grouping of original Victorian houses and shops with an emphasis on Colorado made arts and crafts, local food, antiques and gift shops.
Whether you are a Colorado native, new to the area or plan to visit, the Broadmoor Hotel is a destination that deserves a spot on your must-see bucket list.
Dogs allowed but not really Friendly to your dog. Can’t leave home without your four-legged child? No problem at the Broadmoor. Your pooch is welcome here and will be housed in the lap of luxury with his own dog bed, bowls, treats and beautiful scenic walk for you to take Fido on. The only place you can’t take your pets is where they serve food. – Update… I can’t really recommend this as Dog-Friendly, there are no dog-friendly places you can eat, no places to let your dog run and if your dog barks while you are gone you could have to pay a large fine.
