Frisco’s good bye to summer bike festival features a dual slalom race and the super happy fun day jam

On Saturday, September 15, 2012, the Frisco Bike Park will be hosting the “Goodbye to Summer Bike Festival”. This exciting new festival will feature two events, a Dual Slalom Race and the Super Happy Fun Day Jam. Day of registration starts at 9 a.m. and all competitors must register to participate. There will also be food and drink specials at the available at the Day Lodge for participants and guests.

The Dual Slalom Race is a “Head to Head” competition format where every rider completes at least three runs. Riders of all ages and abilities are welcome. Qualification and seeding starts at 11:00 a.m. and each competitor will complete at least three runs. The divisions are: Elite Men and Women, Men and Women 19 and up, Boys and Girls 14-18, and Boys and Girls 13 and under. Twenty-five dollars will get you an entry and a free drink coupon. Dual Slalom t-shirts will be available for purchase.
Registration is available online at www.friscobikepark.com or in-person at the Frisco Visitor Information Center or at the Frisco Adventure Park. Day of registration will be available at the Frisco Adventure Park until 10:55 a.m. All participants must sign a waiver and back bike brakes and helmets are required.
The Super Happy Fun Day Jam is a fun filled family day in the Bike Park’s Jump Park. Come and show off your best trick or learn a new move in the park. The Jam runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and prizes will be awarded throughout the day with a live MC announcing tricks. The jam is free to all participants with a complete waiver and registration form.
