Steamboat Springs is magical all four seasons!
If you haven’t ever been to Steamboat Springs you need to add it to your bucket list today. It’s a part of Colorado that seems to be spectacular no matter what season you decide to visit. During the summer it’s Colorado’s answer to Ireland. The fields are green, the wildlife is plentiful and the natives are friendly.
You’ll find fine dining to riverside cafe’s and be sure to visit our favorite bookstore/coffee shop/bakery “Off the Beaten Path”. The coffee is fantastic, you feel a bit like you’ve fallen into a Harry Potter book and this book store is on Diagon Alley with it’s staircases to strange rooms popping up everywhere to the “balcony” where you can enjoy your snacks and browse through their bargain book stacks.
“The Cantina” just across the street has some of the best Margarita’s in town along with the friendliest wait staff. On the weekends you will be treated to some live music at the front of the bar.
A “must see and do” aka Bucket List activity you must do is drive up to Strawberry Park Hot Springs. The drive is spectacular but we DO recommend you have at least an all wheel drive vehicle. This is a natural hot springs along the Yampa River but with many wonderful man-made additions to help make your visit even more enjoyable. No one under 18 is allowed after dark when the pool becomes “clothing optional”. Yes that’s right oh and no flash photography please.
